What are we doing here...

Do you wonder sometimes "what in the heck are we doing here.."?

It is easy to fall into a routine of doing the same things day after day and sometimes we get in a rut.

That's why the Bible is such a good life reference. Something that is new every day yet consistently good to gather ideas from for moving forward in this life.

If you take a look at the first couple of pages of the Bible you see that God made us in His image. He wants us to go into this world that He made and do something positive with it.

God wants us to develop this world. He wants us to create things.

He also designed us and this world to operate best when we follow His guidelines.

We humans like to make up our own minds. This often leads to developing our own rules and standards and this is when things get a little crazy.

Changing definitions of what is good and what is bad yields an inconsistency that sometimes takes societies to extremes. This often leads to some terrible seasons of people being bad to each other.

That's why the Bible is so good. It stays the same. The owner's manual never changes and is always relevant to whatever is going on.

The Jesus revolution is an ongoing revolution. Jesus came here to start the revolution of God restoring our world to the way it was in the beginning. A revolution whereby we learn from Jesus' teachings and apply it to our lives. We show this light to the entire world.

People all around us are affected positively and many learn the source. Jesus being the source of revolution in this world is transforming it. It spreads like a grain of mustard seed. From such tiny beginnings is spreads like wild fire and will consume the entire earth.

That is what we are doing here. Reforming ourselves and showing others how Jesus told us to live. Putting it into practice. Making things better all around us.

Every human interaction becomes critical to the entire plan. Eventually there will be a reunification of heaven and earth and God Himself will dwell with us.

Between now and then we are marching forward. Learning to become Christ-like. Making the world a better place and caring for people.
